We would like to take this opportunity to give you a little glimpse of what is going on in the lives of the O'Connor's.

Are we there yet...
We are right now driving down I-70 on the way to visit Aunt Cori in Silver Spring, Maryland. I thought I was lucky traveling when I was a kid because we had a TV/VCR combo that could plug into the van. Well Miss Mia is all stretched out in the "way back" surfing the web on the laptop. Also for the trip we borrowed our friend Tim's GPS navigation system that hooks up to the computer, so every now-and-then from the backseat we hear Mia repeating from inside her headphones "1.6 miles stay left" or "48 miles exit right". The best part about this is we get to ask her, "are we there yet?"

Nothing sleeps like a baby
Uncle Bob was in charge of picking the kids Easter gifts, guess what Gabriel got. A John Deere Tractor! He loves making the tires spin and one of the many noises that comes out of this baby's mouth sounds like he is making an engine noise. Today Gabriel fell asleep after a long time playing with his tractor.

Easter Morning
Happy Easter Everyone! This morning Grandma Teresa and Papa Jon came over for breakfast and to dye Easter Eggs. Mia had lots of fun and Gabriel enjoyed watching from the sidelines. We used a marble egg decorating kit this year and the eggs turned out looking very cool. Now we are off to Grandma Kathy's for Easter dinner! Yum-o!

Sick Sick Sick
Last week we took 2 trips to the doctors office.
#1 Mia had an ear ache and said it really hurt so I took her in. No ear infection! It was most likely just bugging her because she was all congested. They suggested we get Mucinex Mini-Melts, a warm compress, and lots of water. We did all that and also picked up a Hannah Montana magazine and she felt better by the end of the day.
#2 Gabriel has a nasty cold. He started coughing last week and had a little bit of raspy sound when he was breathing. I don't normally like to go to the doctors office for every little thing but Grandma Nancy has had bronchitis and with everything else going around I didn't want to take the chance. So to the doctors we went, again. They said everything was fine and it was just a cold.

Day 2
We started to use chlorine free diapers so when I was on-line looking for the best price I ran into gDiapers. Before Gabriel was born I considered using cloth diapers for about a second. With gDiapers you can flush, compost, or toss the inner padding and reload the liner for the next diaper change. I thought we would try them out so I ordered a "starter kit". They are very cute that's for sure. I just hope they do what they are meant to do.

Daddy's trip
Last week Mike was in Boston for a Drupal Conference, the plan was that I would post one picture a day when he was gone. We all see how well that worked. Because I didn't do it last week I am going to this week. So starting today I will post a least one picture a day. Enjoy :)
