The New Ride

If you didn't already know, I drive a cute little Honda Civic that I just love. The key word there is LITTLE. Mike bought a GMC Suburban about two years ago that I have to crawl up into and sit practically on top of the steering wheel just to reach the gas pedal. With having two kids and two big dogs the Civic is way too small, and the Suburban is just too big. We put them both up for sale and three days later Mike called me with "bad news", the truck was sold. The car is now listed on eBay and the auction ends at 10:30 tonight. On Monday Mike did something he told himself he would "NEVER do", bought a minivan. It is a 1997 Chevrolet Venture, a little older than I was hoping for but it looks good and it runs great. It will work for now until I can get the Honda Odyssey that I want. Another thing Mike "will never do", buy a Honda.

Three Months Old

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Last week Mia had a four day weekend and went back to school on Tuesday, then on Wednesday she got the flu. She stayed home from school the rest of the week. By Monday we where both glad she was back to school.

Gabriel is now three months old! He has been practicing sitting in his Bumbo seat this week, he is getting more and more stable. He loves to be able to sit up and look around at everything all on his own. I can tell he is going to be a mover, already he is always moving and wiggling. When he is mobile I have a feeling we are going to be in for it! We also put the crib together finally, I found a very cute bedding set on Ebay last week and FedEx delivered it on Saturday.

This past weekend Grandma Kathy and Papa went to visit Uncle Brian, Aunt Wendy, and Cousins Gracie and Emma in Connecticut and brought home a very cute rat for Gabriel that he just loves.

Big Help

Coming into the living room from getting dinner ready one day last week this is what I saw. She is a wonderful big sister!

Horseback Riding

I know it is a bit cold to take Gabriel for his first horseback riding lesson, but Mike thought we could get a start on it. Daddy has been trying to get him to ride our Great Dane's back for awhile now. Dutchess was never very thrilled about it but this time they got in a few laps around the kitchen.

A New Discovery

Gabriel found his hand Tuesday. I wish I could have gotten a picture of the look on his face when he held his hand up in front of his face and realized that he was moving it. But I did happen to get two pictures of him sucking away on his fist, very cute and very wet.
